Carsinauction.com requires that all sellers and buyers must first be registered with us. This enables us to keep track of all cars for sale and bidders activities. It protects us as the provider and you as the user. Registration is quick, easy and absolutely free click here to register now Carsinauction.com is available to both trade and private users.
When you complete your registration you will receive a verification email, once clicked you will be able to sign in.
Bidding
Simply find the car you wish to place a bid on, by signing in you will be able to enter the amount you wish to bid in to the box. You need to ensure that the bid you are placing is higher than the current price displayed. You bid will then be submitted when you click place bid. We suggest that if you really want the car then ensure that your placed bid is the highest amount you are willing to pay, other wise you may be out bid. Should your placed bid not be high enough, you will need to bid again, once your bid is accepted you will receive an email notifying you that you are the current highest bidder. If you are out bid by another user you will automatically receive an email notifying you. You can then decide whether you would like to raise your bid.
Raising bid
To raise your bid simply click on the link provided in your email notification, this will take you to the car you are currently bidding on. Enter your raised bid in the box provided and click place bid.
Reserve price
Sometimes sellers enter a reserve price, this is the minimum possible amount they are willing to accept for the car. The reserve price needs to be met by the end of the auction for the seller to sell their car.
End of auction
An email will be automatically sent to both the buyer (highest bidder) and seller once the auction has ended. The buyer and seller are then responsible for making arrangements regarding payment and collection of the car. We simply provide a portal that allows users to sell and buy cars online; we are not in any way legally responsible for loss or damage of any kind as a result of using our website or services. However do not hesitate to let us know if you have any problems, we can and will close the accounts of anyone who abuses our system.
